Overview
Kanazawa is often called a smaller, calmer Kyoto. Its samurai and geisha districts survived intact, and Kenroku-en is considered one of Japan’s three great gardens.
It is famous for gold leaf, crafts and one of Japan’s best seafood markets, and it is quieter than the Golden Route cities.
